While participating in numerous political campaigns, Bill remained an attentive father. His son Django said, “He was our dad every day and every way through the thick of everything.” Django’s younger brother Giulio added, “He gives me wisdom in life that it’s going to be ok, as long as you keep fighting— you don’t ever give up. You come home and you care for your children.”

In addition to raising six children, Bill and Giuliana welcomed a seventh child, Jordon, into their family when his parents tragically passed away.
